Annie & Richmond.

4.15.2011

I love the story of this couple - Annie and Richmond were high school sweethearts and Richmond said in his vows that he knew from the moment he met Annie he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. Their twelve year relationship finally led them to a perfectly intimate and love filled wedding at Vintage Villas. All of the time and energy put into their wedding day was evidenced by the handmade signs, props and other personal details Annie made. After their ceremony, Annie and Richmond had a brunch reception with their family and friends. My absolute favorite part of the reception was the sweets table. Since it was an early morning wedding, Annie and Richmond filled the table with the best looking doughnuts I have ever seen from Gourdoughs in Austin. Personally, I had never heard of this place but you better believe I am going there soon. Although I didn't eat one, the one that looked best to me was the Flying Pig - a doughnut drizzled with maple syrup and covered in bacon! Can you imagine? They also had a PB&J doughnut, one with fresh strawberries and cream cheese and one with bananas, caramel and pecans. Such a fun idea. All the best Annie and Richmond!
